the wizard of oz is about the adventure of a beautiful kind girl called dorothy,who lived with uncle henry and aunt elm in the kansas plains.
one day,a tornado carried her to a strange magical country,oz.she met the scarecrow,the iron woodman and the cowardly lion there.in order to make their own dreams come true,they worked together and helped each other.although they encounterd a lot of difficulites ,they achieved their dreams respectively in the end with their wisdom and peserverance.
in reality,everyone has his own advantages and shortcomings.what we should do is to discover our strong points and give ourselves hope and faith.
many people,however, are unaware of their power and potential.in the story,the scarecrow hoped to own a wise brain;the iron woodman ,a beating heart ;the cowardly lion,courage and guts.
in fact, the scarecrow's brain is better than anyone else when the situation is very urgent and it can create many brilliant ideas.the iron woodman's heart is full of love.the cowardly lion becomes brave when he is in danger and even can fight the monster.

recently, i read a book called "the wizard of oz" book, feel good.
this book is mainly about: a girl called rosie was a tornado blew into a strange and wonderful country - the land of oz, and lost on the way home, where she has met the scarecrow did not mind, not the heart of iron and a cowardly lion, he in order to realize their wish, help each other, work together, encountered many hardships, strange and eccentric. eventually, by virtue of their extraordinary intelligence and tenacity, they fulfilled their wishes.
in this book, i love the most is rosie, because she buweijianxian, lead buddies defeat the wicked witch of the west, to rescue the munchkins, she is a girl full of justice in the sun. which i do not love is oz because he cheated the people up to ten years, he has no mana, yet pretend force is infinite, and no one can. although he was dishonest, fortunately, he finally corrected himself and did his best to help rosie and his friends' wishes.

before reading this novel, someone tells me it is very interesting, so i started to read this book with expectation and curiosity. and after iwas through with it, i was full of respect to the author.
the novel described a girl, called dorothy, was blew into an unfamiliar land which was far away from her hometown. then she tried to find the way home and finally she made it. during her journey, she experienced a lot.
to be honest, the author is really full of intelligence. his thought is so special that the plots are absolutely beyond my imagination. but it didn't surprise me when dorothy killed a wicked witch by accident, because every novel could start a story with such unusual coincidence. however, the next happened were really out of my expectation. first of all, dorothy's comrades were deadfully strange. for example, the scarecrow could speak ,walk and think, it is surprising, after all, his head was stuffed with straw, and just with eyes , nose as well as mouth painted on it to represent a face. it was even more surprising when changed new straws, he was still himself. he went to find the great oz because he wanted the great oz to give him some brain so that he wouldn't be laughed at by others and could do anying like a real man. the second was tin woodman,and his experiences were miserable. he fell in love with a beautiful girl and worked hard for their marriage, but the wicked with wanted to take them apart, so she cut off his legs ,arms head and heart one by one through using her magic. however, he was rescued by tinsmith,who made everything he lost out of tin but heart. so he was urgent to get a new heart. the third was a lion, and in our thought ,lions were expected to be brave and full of right, but this lion was as coward as a mouse, so he joined dorothy to get some courage.
the most wonderful thing beyond my thought was the great oz. it was said he was so great that was capable of doing everything.but actually, he was a humbug.this really disappointed them,because their wishes might not be satisfied. however, the humbug managed it because he knew they have already got what they wanted during the journey. here were some evidences. when every time they met trouble, it was scarecrow that came up with good ideas and helped them out; when every time they met monstrous beasts, it was the lion that stepped ahead and protected them. besides, the tin woodman was the one who was always kind to small animals and was sure to cry when he saw others' misery. the only they didn't obtain was confidence. so the humbug gave them confidence by using tricks.
there are some sentences i want to share with you:"no matter how dreary and gray our homes are, we people of flesh and blood would rather live there than in any other country,be it ever so beautiful. there is no place like home." "experience is the only thing that brings knowledge and the longer you are on earth the more experience you are sure to get." "there is no living thing that is not afraid when it faces danger. the true courage is in facing danger when you are afraid."

from this story, we can see dorothy is a brave and kind-hearted girl. she killed the two bad witches in oz; she helped the scarecrow, the tin man, and the cowardly lion to go to the emerald city to find the wizard and get what they want. she solved problems when they met difficulties. it’s really not easy for such a little girl.
we also learn that teamwork is important for us. when we are in trouble, we can ask our friends for help, and also, when our friends need help, we should go and help them. just remember, more people, more power. it’s always better has more people to do a thing. teamwork is really necessary in our lives.
and we can see the scarecrow is absolutely cleaver, he understands things, he can think, he learn quickly, and he suggested dorothy to cut down a tree to crothe river. the tin man has a kind heart, he laughs, he cries, he loves, he feels sorry for people. the cowardly lion is really brave, he did a lot of brave things, he carried the friends to go acrothe river, and he wanted to find some food for his friends and so on. we should learn from them too. when we are in trouble, we should calm down, watch the things around carefully, and try to think out of a way to solve it, just like the scarecrow. we also should be brave as we are in danger, we can’t be afraid, we should face the difficulty and try to go through it, just like the cowardly lion. and we should learn to love people, to feel sorry for people, to make more friends, to get on well with everyone around us, just like the tin man.
yes, we should learn how to get on with other people, we should help each other, we should be brave, we should love other people. if we can do like this, we can be a better girl (boy), more and more people will make friends with us, and more and more people will like us!

in order to return home, she met all sorts of thrills and troubles. at the same time, i know many good friends: a scarecrow who wants to have a smart head, a iron man who wants a heart, and a cowardly lion who desperately wants courage.
they experienced hardships, came to the emerald city to see the great oz. she promised dorothea that only the evil western witches would be killed to realize their wishes.
so dorothea used her clever and brave, killed the wicked witch of the west, rescued a lion, repaired the tin man, scarecrow. the great oz has finally realized the promise: the scarecrow had a clever mind; the tin man has a good heart; the lion had the guts. but, this can get dorothea out of a hurry! because oz is a little old change, he does not have the ability to help dorothea return to kansas! what about that?! after a while, they heard that the southern witch had this ability. so dorothea recruited the flying monkeys, so that they could send dorothea to the southern witch. then, with the help of the southern witch, he returned to her home state, kansas. read the "wizard of oz", i feel the affection between friends is precious. dorothea and the scarecrow, the iron man and the lion never met friends, shared difficulties and helped each other, and realized their wishes. we are friends, we should learn from each other and help each other, let the flowers of friendship is always in full bloom.
